Rallycross is one of the fastest growing forms of motorsport in the world. Their primary goal was to gain new fans who were interested in action sports and/or motorsport and increase their reach internationally, focusing on digital content consumption through a variety of digital and social channels.
We made use of prior client research which proved relevant to GRC as well. Their market wanted immediate entertainment gratification, were interested in new technology and desired to be part of the Global Rallycross conversation.
The hub of the site was the Featured Content section, fed by social media channels and GRC derived rich media. We also featured an educational section to explain the format, including track breakdowns and video “tutorials” so new fans could quickly understand why Rallycross is so exciting.
