All In Magazine is a publication focusing on poker, fantasy sports and eSports. The project entailed creating a digital information/entertainment hub catering to the rapidly expanding poker and eSports markets.
Information architecture was key given the amount of content available in the portal. Being a media company, they had access to massive amounts of editorial and rich content which had to be easily consumable for users. It had to cater to users new to poker and gaming as well as casual and hardcore gamers. Educating users was a key feature. HD training and instructional videos were available for players of all levels. A visual glossary, live sessions with pros, and in-depth hand analysis were also integrated.
The social aspects of gaming were also fundamental to its success. Registered members of the site could upload and/or share content on social media platforms for points, achievement levels and virtual casino money. There was also a rewards and promotions program for referring new members and connecting with existing members. All In was also partnered with a third party online gaming company so members could compete for free or get involved in pay to play gaming.
All In also featured a robust eComm area where users could purchase apparel, educational books/videos, gaming gear and décor.
